3 simple ways to check the quality of your cbd

So here’s the skinny on the cbd industry to date. In 2018, a veryyy important bill was passed - the Farm Bill. This bill finally created a differentiator between marijuana and hemp, and also made hemp federally legal. This is why THC content is so important now - any cannabis plant that contains MORE than 0.3% THC is considered marijuana and any cannabis plant with LESS than 0.3% THC is considered “industrial hemp.” Everything seems great, right? No.

2019 vape crisis entered the chat. Lack of regulations caused some serious chaos and sketchy THC and CBD brands started popping up. Now that your cbd history 101 lesson is over, you see why it is so important to check the quality of your cbd. Here are our quick tips for ensuring you’re getting the best of the best cbd products:

1. Independent test results

Transparency is 🔑. If the cbd is high-quality, the lab results will be front and center. Heck, we even made a tapestry out of our lab results. If you can’t find the lab results on the website, in the box it came in, or on the products, it’s time to start asking questions. Just remember - when we say “test results” or “lab results,” we always mean test results performed by an independent third-party lab. If the tests are performed internally, well the risks are obvious. You don’t want to be dealing with a cbd catfish.

2. Product labels should display the amount of cbd

look for either the concentration or total number of mg in the product. Any trustworthy brand will make all this information crystal clear for you.

3. Don’t trust outrageous medical claims

Don’t get this one twisted. CBD is magical BUT it cannot claim to treat or cure any medical conditions.

At Breeze, we set the bar higher. Premium small-batch cbd and transparency are what we’re all about. That’s why all of our products are sent to a third-party testing lab where they are tested for potency, pesticides, microbial, mycotoxins, heavy metals, foreign materials, and solvents. We make the test results super accessible on every product page and also on a QR code on each of our products.
